Thank you for your interest in presenting at GLPA! Make sure to submit your proposal on or before September 16, 2019.

By presenting a paper or poster, you are eligible for a $25.00 credit on your conference registration. Be sure to take it. Only one credit is allowed per person; scholarship recipients are not eligible for the credit.

After you have submitted your proposal using the links above, a confirmation will be automatically e-mailed to you. If you don’t receive one, please contact Paper Chair April Whitt. After all submissions have been received and considered, you will receive another e-mail stating if your submission has been accepted or declined. When you receive notification of acceptance, please follow the Instructions to Authors to submit a copy of your paper/poster to the proceedings editor. You must submit the electronic version of your paper/poster by October 15.

Encoding fulldome video for the Spitz SciDome

If you are presenting a paper in the planetarium and would like to present pre-rendered fulldome content... Spitz has graciously offered to handle encoding of conference video for Ritter Planetarium's SciDome. Please send dome masters with 2.0 or 5.1 sound (as separate tracks) to:

Dome master resolution should have a minimum resolution of 2400x2400, and audio files must be identical in length and time-synchronized to the visual content. To allow processing time before the conference, please ensure that dome masters are received by October 1, 2019.
