Abstract: The Amateur Radio International Space Station program is a cooperative venture of NASA and aligned groups that organizes scheduled contacts via Amateur Radio between astronauts aboard the International Space Station and students. With the assistance of area Amateur Radio volunteers, our planetarium hosted an event where students from a local school spoke directly with an astronaut for nine minutes during a planned pass over our community.
