Cover Caption: This issue’s cover by Jackie Baughman features a collage of images taken by GLPA members during our recent “season of astronomical observing.” The top row of solar funnel images was taken by Jackie Baughman from her observing site in Plano, Texas. She also took the Corona at Totality image in Row 2 (right). The Row 2 (left) aurora image was taken by Heidi Westrick at Brooks Observatory in Toledo, Ohio during the auroral display of May 10-11. The third row features two more auroral photos from that spectacular night — the Row 3 (left) image, titled Phoenix, was taken by Erin Steinert from West Richland, Washington. The Row 3 (right) image was taken by Bart Benjamin from Bloomingdale, Illinois. [More auroral images can be found on page 22].
