Great submissions focus on how Planetarians can use their tools and technology to create meaningful experiences.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Content should be relevant to the planetarium community, and unique from other presentations or publications.
• Focus the message to help Planetarians become successful in their roles or professionally develop.
• Articles can reference specific equipment or vendors, but shouldn’t read as product promotion or advertising

Due Dates

February 25 – Vernal Equinox (Spring) issue
May 25 – Summer Solstice issue
August 25 – Autumnal Equinox (Fall) issue
November 25 – Winter Solstice

Email your content to the GLPA Newsletter Editor. Written pieces can be pasted directly into the body of your message, linked as Google Docs, or attached as a .doc, .docx, .pages, or .pdf file — just mention any special formatting so we can honor it. Send images as separate attachments rather than embedded in your document.

For images, we accept .jpg, .tif, and .png files. You’re welcome to share large files via a service like WeTransfer, Google Drive, or Dropbox. Favor quality over compression so everything looks crisp, and include a caption and photographer credit with each image. The Editor may crop or resize images as needed to keep things looking their best.

When submitting your ad, send it to the Editor as a .pdf (ideal for full-page ads) or a well-proportioned .jpg image. To keep things fair, ad placement rotates between issues so every advertiser gets equal visibility over time. The Editor may make minor size adjustments to fit the newsletter layout.
